Come hungry, bring your friends, and let’s make new memories together. We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone and the New Year with you!

Join us as we pound mochi together to welcome the New Year and enjoy a day filled with food, fun, and celebration.

Mochi Tsuki, the traditional Japanese mochi-pounding ceremony, dates back over a thousand years and is deeply rooted in Shinto rituals and agricultural traditions. Originally used in religious ceremonies to pray for prosperity and good fortune, it became a central part of New Year celebrations during the Edo Period, symbolizing strength, unity, and longevity. The process involves steaming glutinous rice, then pounding it with a wooden mallet in a mortar, transforming it into smooth, elastic mochi. Today, Mochi Tsuki is a festive tradition, bringing people together to celebrate heritage and welcome the New Year.
